PROJECT - SENCO GOLD, GARIAHAT, KOLKATA

Client’s Requirements

Our another big step project was to remodel and renovate SENCO GOLD showroom at Gariahat. Our task was to convert an old residential building into a swanky ‘state of the art’ mega jewellery store compliant with all necessary statutory sanctions by preserving the safety of the old structure, removing damp and termites, creating an external facelift and giving the interior glamorous look out of an old, damp, termite ridden building within a moderate budget.

Initial site condition

The building had lots of internal walls with a single narrow staircase. The building walls were affected badly by termites and damp. The new design for the building was the main challenge as we had to preserve the structural planning of the old building.

Solution Provided by Us

1. At first dismantling and debris removal was done very efficiently.
2. Wide spacious stair and elevator were inserted. Large open showroom space was generated with Italian Botocinno & onyx.
3. To reduce cost, no wood paneling was done all over the wall but an innovative texture conceived by ‘Spacekrafters’ was applied.
4. Carpentry was kept minimal and waste chips from woodwork were applied as wall cladding.
