Project - EXpat US, New Town
Client’s Requirements
This time it was a commercial building we had to design. EXPAT US tax Kolkata pvt. Ltd, a firm dealing with tax related issues of expats. The clients from abroad wanted an industrial look for the interior with cheerful colours but not extravagantly bright or showy. They wanted to use parrot green grey and sparkling white colours for the design.
Initial Site Condition
The site was situated on the 14th floor. But the site had no flooring, brick work or service lines done.
Solution Provided by Us
- The industrial look was achieved by avoiding a regular false ceiling with AC ducts, electrical conduits, fire pipelines, all exposed.
- Some rough wooden rafters were hung from the soot black painted ceiling.
- Green tumbler lights and green highlighted workstations were used with a stone grey vitrified floor to reflect the theme colours.
- Rest of the walls and washroom tiles were left a sparkling white.
